ETHConf 2026, a three-day conference dedicated to Ethereum, blockchain technology, digital assets, and decentralized finance, officially began at the Javits Center in New York City here today.
The inaugural event has brought together founders, developers, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders from across the blockchain ecosystem, providing a platform to explore the latest developments in digital finance and emerging technologies.
According to organizers, more than 5,000 attendees, 153 speakers, and over 100 companies are participating in the conference. The event features presentations, product demonstrations, networking opportunities, strategic partnerships, and discussions focused on the future of the global digital economy.
A total of 150-plus speakers from both public and private sectors are scheduled to share insights on technological innovation, regulatory developments, institutional adoption, and the evolving role of blockchain in modern finance.
The conference is organized around three key themes: Onchain at Scale, Institutional Adoption, and Protocol Updates.
Under the Onchain at Scale track, participants are examining the future of decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain-based capital markets through discussions with innovators and industry leaders building next-generation financial infrastructure.
The Institutional Adoption segment focuses on how major financial institutions, asset managers, and investment firms are developing the partnerships, frameworks, and operational structures necessary to integrate blockchain technology and digital assets into traditional finance.
Meanwhile, the Protocol Updates track provides attendees with insights into the latest Ethereum developments, upcoming roadmap initiatives, technical advancements, and discussions surrounding the long-term evolution of the Ethereum ecosystem.
Organizers say the conference aims to foster collaboration among builders, investors, policymakers, and technology leaders while highlighting Ethereum’s growing role as a foundational technology for the future of finance and digital innovation.
